For å bli nominert må følgende kriterier oppfylles:
The ECA CSR Award 2011 shall be awarded to an ECA Member Club with a club-driven project (a project initiated by the club; not a third party project in which the club participated), which:
- aims at supporting/helping the local community by facing/tackling specific regional problems/issues;
- is clearly more a project than an event, showing continuity and sustainability;
- shows positive results benefiting the local community where the club has its roots (rather than benefiting the club itself through e.g. brand promotion);
- can serve as best practice for all ECA Member Clubs (regardless of club size and CSR budget).
The ECA CSR Award Jury 2011 is composed of the following members:
Mr. Senes Erzik, UEFA Vice-President and Chairman of the Committee for Fair Play & Social Responsibility at both UEFA and FIFA
Mr. Ivo Belet, leading Member of the European Parliament (MEP) on football matters; author of the European Parliament report on the future of professional football in Europe
Mr. Avraham Burg, Chairman of Mifalot, Hapoel Tel-Aviv FCs Education & Social Project (Winner of the ECA CSR Award 2010)
