Den norske golfspilleren Henrik Bjørnstad viser gode takter i kvalifiseringen til PGA-touren i Texas, og ligger på en fin tredjeplass etter fredagens tredjerunde.

Nordmannen vartet opp med to birdier, men måtte også tåle to bogeyer i løpet av runden. Dette holdt til par, men i sammendraget ligger han fire under.

Turneringen på Lantana Golf Club er den andre av tre kvalifiseringssteg til USA-touren, og de 20 beste går videre til finalekvalifiseringen, som spilles i starten av desember.

De 25 beste der får innpass på verdens beste golftour.

Engelske Matt Richardson og amerikanske Jimmy Walker leder turneringen med fem under par. Bjørnstad deler tredjeplassen med to andre spillere.

Norske Peter Kaensche er også med i turneringen, men befinner seg helt nede på 68. plass.

Også han gikk fredagens tredjerunde på par, men ligger 13 over sammenlagt.

Den fjerde og siste runden spilles lørdag.
