A 14-year-old was forced to run around naked in minus 18-20 degrees Celsius, chased by a 20-year-old in a car.
"Well, yeas, but I was five meters behind him. It happened in the parking area. He jumped out into the snow", the 20-year-old who is charged with the assault said in court.
According to the local newspaper Romsdals Budstikke the public prosecutor described the case as "coarse assault on the verge of torture".
The background of the story is said to be a fire in October 2000 where the 14-year-old, according to the 20-year-old, set fire to a house at Nordmøre.
The 20-year-old claims the 14-year-old squealed on him and pulled his name into the case.
In court the 20-year-old admitted having stolen the diesel that was used to set fire to the house and that he picked up the boy after the fire had started, driving to the fire engines to see whether they had been called out.
