Ferry crew in new drunken scandal
Ferry company Hardanger Sunnhordlandske Dampskipselskap (HSD) is hit by yet another drunken scandal - on the day after the trial after the last one starts.
Yesterday the trial against four crewmembers who were caught drunk working onboard the ferry in November last year started.
And on Friday morning the police detected yet another party onboard the same ferry. The local police discovered the party onboard the ship at quayside in Hufthammer.
"The police heard that there was a party gong on onboard the ferry. He got hold of the captain, who seemed drunk. The captain was told that the police would be back before the ferry was due to leave", said the police.
As the crew were blow-tested on Friday morning, they were all above the limit. The crew were then blood-tested, and the police denied the ferry to leave the quay.
