Girl hit by fireworks at school

A 14-year-old girl at Os junior high school received injuries on her ear drum after being hit by fireworks at school Tuesday.

A 15-year-old boy and his friend, also 15, are suspected of being responsible for the accident. The two of them have been questioned by the police, according to the website

“He has not admitted to firing the fireworks, but we are pretty sure we got the right kid,” said Siren Sørås, police officer at Os lensmannskontor to “We suspect that this boy is the principal offender behind the incident.”

The girl was hit from only three or four meters, and the fireworks got stuck in her hair before going off just beside her ear.
