The positive attitude to immigration to fill jobs is found in all sections of society regardless of age, education and place of residency. Even among the Progress partys supporters, a party which often express a wish to reduce immigration are 70 percent for increased immigration within specific professions in order to secure social services.
This information was revealed by a survey conducted by the research agency MMI, printed in Ukebrevet Mandag Morgen, according to the TV channel NRK.
It is mainly within health services and care work that Norwegians claim immigration is a good resource.
