Oslo burse up since last year
The companies on Oslo Burse can so far this year list results which are almost NOK 10 billion (USD 1.47 billion) better compared to the first quarter of last year, according to the Norwegian daily Aftenposten.
There are apparently several factors which have contributed to bringing the results up.
Many companies, first of all the technology companies, have conducted extensive savings programs. In addition, the high oil price has assisted the oil companies greatly.
«And many of the companies are now experiencing much better market conditions. There is on question about it,» stated Morten Jensen, manager of analysis at DnBNor Markets, to the paper.
