Estate agent Odd Kalsnes is trying to sell a luxury home in Oslo at the asking price of NOK 7.85 million, not knowing that a competitor is trying to sell the same property for NOK 6.5 million.
The owner has tried to get rid of the property for some time without succeeding. In June, he hired top-notch estate agent Odd Kalsnes from company A-megler to find a buyer.
What Kalsnes was not told though, is that the first estate agent, Bekkelaget & Nordstrand Eiendom, has kept the property on the market all along, at a much lower price, Finansavisen reports.
«This seems ridiculous», said estate agent Heidi Olsen at A-megler.
Bekkelaget & Nordstrand knows about the fact that two agents are trying to sell the same property.
After receiving a rather unpleasant telephone call from Odd Kalsnes, Bekkelaget & Nordstrand decided to remove the property from their web pages.
«We have forgotten to remove the ad», was the excuse from A-megler.
