Woman caught drink-driving twice in one night
The police stopped the female driver outside Bergen on Saturday night. The 32-year-old woman was taken to the police station where tests showed her blood level was 1.7 per thousand, according to Bergens Tidende.
The police confiscated the woman's driver's licence and told here there was no way she would be allowed to drive in her state. The problem was that the woman claimed not to have anywhere to sleep, as her flat was not ready to move into until the following week.
The police felt sorry for the woman and gave her the car keys back.
«We wanted to make sure she did not drive again and pulled out some leads in her engine», said the police.
Despite her drunken state the woman saw through the police's engine tricks.
At 2.30 a.m. she was stopped by the police again, on her way to Bergen with a beer between her legs. A new test showed that her blood level was 1.8 at that stage.
