Young royals partied in Copenhagen
Many of the younger generation from Europe's royal families were at Vega yesterday to celebrate the up and coming wedding. All of the young Norwegian royalty were represented as Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and Princess Märtha Louise and Ari Behn had found their way to Copenhagen to participate in the festivities.
Mary Donaldson marries her prince in the Danish capital Friday May 14.
The menu at Vega was Australian in honor of the bride-to-be, and the music was delivered by the famous DJ Kjeld Tholstrup, according to the web edition of Ekstra Bladet.
The couple had invited several hundred guests to the private party. According to Ekstra Bladet, a large number of journalists and other curious people had gathered around the club at about 9 p.m. in order to get a glimpse of the distinguished guests.
The Swedish royal children were of course also there, but they return to Sweden today to celebrate Prince Carl Philips 25 birthday. They return to Denmark again to attend the ceremony on Friday, then accompanied by the Swedish Kong and Queen.
