The 51-year-old, who allegedly often travels under the name Abu Amin, has been identified as the leader of the Al Qaeda's terror cell in Sweden. The man allegedly made anti personnel mines that were used by bin Laden’s soldiers during the war in Chechnya and Afghanistan.
According to the Swedish paper Aftonbladet, the man allegedly also had close ties to Imad Barakat Yarkas, one of the men who is believed to have planned the terror attacks September 11.
The business man lives in a mid size Swedish town, and he has often traveled to Spain, allegedly to work with another Al Qaeda terror cell. The Spanish security police have surveyed the man’s movements.
Another man who lives in Sweden has also been identified as a contact person for Al-Qaeda. He lives in the Stockholm’s area.
